Critters Without Litters is a non–profit organization that provides spay and neuter vouchers at a reduced cost.

WE DO NOT HOUSE HOMELESS PETS OR DO ADOPTIONS.

Our Goal is to provide spay/neuter vouchers to owners or rescuers.

When your pet is spayed/neutered it will drastically reduce the # of pets euthanized or abandoned. It will improve the pet’s health and lower the # of homeless pets.

Guidelines for Vouchers

  1. Please call a participating vet well in advance to set up your appointment. Don’t expect to get an appointment for the same day that you call.
  2. When you make your pet’s appointment with a participating vet, tell the receptionist that you have a voucher.
  3. Let your clinic know if your pet has any preconditions (in heat, pregnant, cryptorchid male, fleas, ticks, etc.). If your vet deems the surgery too dangerous, you would be responsible for any resulting charges—no refund for the voucher.
  4. Ask your vet if there will be any additional charges before making your appointment (pain meds, vaccinations, fluids, blood lab, etc.). The voucher only covers pets 25 lbs or less. A larger pet might cost more.
  5. Please no food or water after midnight before the surgery.
  6. Texas state law requires that any pet over 4 months old must have their rabies vaccination.
  7. Call to cancel your appointment a day ahead. If you fail to show up without calling in advance, your voucher will be voided without a refund!
  8. Critters Without Litters cannot give a refund for a lost or misplaced voucher. These have no cash value to the purchaser.
  9. Last but not least, please remember to thank the vet, staff, and clinic for participating in Critters Without Litters!
